HS girls soccer: Friendswood shuts out Texas City
Friendswood registered a 2-0 shutout win over Texas City in District 43-4A high school girls soccer action on Monday.
Bridget Richie scored two goals to lead the Mustangs to victory.
The win ups Friendswood to 20-4-2 overall and 12-0-0 in district play.
Kristina Todd was stellar in net, allowing nothing to get by her.
Friendswood will next host Austin on Tuesday at 5 p.m.
The loss ends Texas City’s season at 0-4-0 overall and 0-2-0 in district play.
