Webster seeks contractor for lift station pumps
The City of Webster is accepting sealed bids from contractors until July 21 for disaster-standby pumps for area lift stations as part of a Hurricane Ike recovery plan.
The contract is being funded through the Texas Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery, Round One.
Locations slotted to receive the pumps and other improvements include Lift Station No. 3 at 18413 SH 3; No. 6 at 18497 Egret Bay Blvd; No. 5 at U.S. 390A and Blossom Street; No. 7 at 18323 Anne Drive; No. 8 at 515 ½ E. NASA Parkway; No. 13 at 900 Henderson Ave. (Hidden Lake Apartments); No. 18 at 18301 Old Galveston Road.
A mandatory pre-bid conference is scheduled for Thursday, July 7, at 2 p.m.
