Friendswood ISD asks parents' patience as it 'refines' bus routes
The Friendswood ISD Transportation Department is asking for parents to be patient with expected delays as the bus routes are settled.
FISD estimates that it will take two weeks for bus routes to be completely settled and running as normal. The time will be used to settle new routes, new stops, determine where buses will be needed and how to best use them. These delays will cause students to arrive at home and school later than normal. The school's schedule should normalize more every day.
"We realize the importance of helping students get to school in a timely manner, but it usually takes two weeks to refine the routes," Superintendant Trish Hanks said in a press release. "We are asking for parents' patience in this matter."
For more information about bus routes, contact the Transportation Department as 281-482-6025.
