HS boys basketball: Clear Springs defeats Clear Creek
Clear Springs defeated Clear Creek 47-40 in boys high school basketball action on Friday, in a District 24-5A match-up.
With the win, Clear Springs ups its record to 14-8 overall and 5-5 in district play.
Jeff Beverly scored a game-high 17 points in the victory.
Clear Springs will next visit Brazoswood on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
With the loss, Clear Creek drops to 12-15 overall and 4-5 in district play.
Chris Holton netted 10 points in the loss.
Clear Creek will next host Clear Lake on Tuesday at 7 p.m.
