UHCL to host open mic poetry

The University of Houston-Clear Lake will host a free open mic poetry series event at its coffee shop from 5-6:30 p.m. April 5.

Poetry, short story readings and live music will be performed on the mic at UH-Clear Lake's eighth open mic poetry series. All are invited to participate, and submissions are asked to be kept at a maximum of five minutes.

The event is organized by faculty members Stephen "Arch" Erich, John Gorman and Shreerekha Subramanian.
