Activist to speak at UHCL about LGBTQ issues
Janice Langbehn, a social worker and activist, will speak to an audience at University of Houston-Clear Lake on "From Tragedy to Advocacy: How One Family's Journey Helped Change Health Care Policy," at 1 p.m. April 21.
Her story influenced health care policies regarding the LGBTQ community and will be shared with a panel discussion to follow from 2:30-4 p.m. Both events will be held in the Student Services and Classroom Building Lecture Hall, located at 2700 Bay Area Blvd.
Admission is free, though RSVPs are requested. To RSVP, email conlon@uhcl.edu.
