Webster rehab center named in wrongful death suit
A family is suing after a loved one fell in a Webster-area rehabilitation center.
Ronald Honea, individually and on behalf of the deceased Janet Honea, filed a wrongful death lawsuit on May 17 in Harris County District Court against Clear Lake Rehabilitation Hospital.
Ronald says on May 8, 2010, Janet, a fall-risk patient, fell while using a walker at Clear Lake Rehabilitation Hospital in Webster. The fall fractured her femur and, eventually, she died, according to the brief.
Honea is seeking damages and court costs. He is being represented in the case by Bellaire attorney Mark Weycer.
