Friendswood runner completes Heights Fun Run
Bobby Roe, 27, of Friendswood completed the Heights Fun Run in 28:35.
The event was held on Saturday, June 2 in Houston. A total of 921 runners finished the 5-kilometer race, which started and ended at Marmion Park.
The race was organized by the Houston Heights Association. Sean Wade of Houston was the men's overall winner with a time of 15:20, while Allison Pye, also of Houston, was the women's winner in 16:53.
