Clear Lake camp to feature July 4, artistic themes
The Clear Lake City Community Association's summer youth camp for kids ages 10-12 will feature “Stars and Stripes” and “Artful Antics” themes July 2-13.
In the first week, “Stars and Stripes” will be a week-long celebration of Independence Day. The second week, “Artful Antics,” will let campers create art in a variety of media, including painting and sculpture.
Camp activities take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Registration for the two-week session costs $230 for nonresidents and $161 for residents. Shot records must be submitted before children are allowed to attend the camp.
Parents should provide a lunch and extra drink each day for their child. Also, children should bring their swimsuits and a towel as they will have daily access to the camp pool.
Camp Clear Lake is located at 16511 Diana Lane in Houston. For more information, go to www.clcca.org/Summer-Camp-2012~272095~16427.htm.
