Where are the lowest gas prices in Clear Lake?

Gas prices in and around the Clear Lake area were lower compared to the averages for Houston and the country as a whole this week, according to data from the price-tracking website gasbuddy.com.

Visitors to the gasbuddy.com website reported rates for 95 gas stations in and around Clear Lake, Dickinson, Friendswood, Kemah, League City, Nassau Bay and Webster. As of Saturday, June 30, the average price of regular unleaded gas in the Clear Lake area is $3.164 per gallon. Gasbuddy.com listed the Texas average at $3.157, Houston average at $3.169 and the nationwide average at $3.380.

The average gas price in the Clear Lake area last week was $3.243 per gallon.

The least expensive gas price in area is reported to be $2.99 for a gallon of regular unleaded gas, which gasbuddy.com contributors logged as being available at Conoco, 2255 W. Parkwood Ave. near San Joaquin Parkway; CITGO, 2414 W. Parkwood Ave. and Sun Meadow Boulevard; and Chevron, 1651 FM 528 and Friendswood Lakes Boulevard.

A gasbuddy.com user reported the most expensive gas price in the area at $3.39, which was being sold at Shell, 1910 NASA Parkway and Upper Bay Road.
