Additional National Merit Scholarships announced
More than 2,000 additional winners of National Merit Scholarships, including eight students who graduated from high schools in the Clear Creek Independent School District, were announced July 9, according to a release.
Each scholarship winner was selected by officials of a sponsor college from among finalists who will attend the institution.
Mitchel O. Johnson, a graduate of Clear Brook High School, is a winner from Texas A&M University.
Andrew D. Chen, a graduate of Clear Lake High School, is a winner from Texas A&M University.
Connor D. Krist, a graduate of Clear Lake High School, is a winner from Vanderbilt University.
Anjali M. Kumar, a graduate of Clear Lake High School, is a winner from Rice University.
Natasha C. Lie, a graduate of Clear Horizons Early College High School, is a winner from Baylor University.
Audrey C. Wassef, a graduate of Clear Like High School, is a winner from Rice University.
Christina R. Wassef, a graduate of Clear Lake High School, is a winner from Rice University.
Robert Tanner Clark, a graduate of Clear Horizons Early College, is a winner from the University of Alabama.
