Clear Lake Bridge Club announces fall schedule
Fall trimester classes for the Clear Lake Bridge Club will begin the week of Aug. 20.
Two beginning bridge classes will be offered for the first time this trimester, according to Claudi Parr, the bridge club's vice president. One will take place Monday evening, and the other will be Friday afternoon.
"This fall we are including more classes for the beginners in different time slots, and we have a good selection of advanced classes," Dave Glandorf, the club's director of education, wrote in an email. "There will be more practice games for the beginners."
Education is one of the club's major goals, according to Bob Dowlen, the club's president.
Fees for the weekly classes are between $90-$110 plus book fees, if applicable.
