Bay Area Park to host Breakfast on the Bayou Aug. 4
Bay Area Park's Breakfast on the Bayou event is now accepting reservations.
The Saturday morning breakfast takes place on a drifting pontoon boat, the "Bayou Ranger," floating through the bayou life of the nature center.
Pastries, juice and coffee will be available on the boat.
Bay Area Park, located between Space Center Boulevard and Red Bluff Road, features various types of wildlife, trails, fountains and other outdoor spectacles. It is located along the Armand Bayou.
The event is for ages 5 and older, and adults must accompany children younger than 18. The price is $25 for adults and $20 for children and seniors. Discounts are available for members. Reservations are required.
Breakfast lasts from 8-9:30 a.m. Aug. 4. Pickup is at Bay Area Park, 7500 Bay Area Blvd. in Houston.
