League City's Camp by the Creek wrapping up
One more session of League City's Camp by the Creek is left this summer.
Children enrolled in session five of the camp will spend the week of Monday, July 30 through Aug. 3 in a Sandtastic Adventure-themed camp with daily trips to the League City pool and a visit to the beach on the final day of camp for a sandcastle competition. The final week, Aug. 6-10, has the theme of That's a Wrap, and children can dress up for daily themes and team up to construct an indoor fort.
The camps are held in a Clear Creek Independent School District building from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and are for children ages 6-12. Camp by the Creek sessions began in June.
For more information about the camp or to inquire if spots are still available for enrollment for the final session, contact the League City Park Office at 281-554-1180 or at 512 Second St. Cost for the camp is $200 per session for residents and $220 per session for nonresidents. A $10 discount is offered for an additional child, and a nonrefundable $50 deposit is needed for enrollment.
