Registration for League City girl's softball now open
The League City Parks Recreation is offering a girl's ASA Fall Softball league.
The league is for girls ages 5-18. Players will be divided into six different age divisions. Pixie I is for ages 5-6, Pixie II for ages 7-8, Freshman for ages 9-10, Sophomore for ages 11-12, intermediate for ages 13-14 and junior/senior divisions for ages 15-18.
Games start the second or third weekend of September and finish the second or third week of November. All games are played on Saturdays or Sundays.
The Chester L. Davis Sportsplex at 1251 Highway 96 will host local play, with more games being played in other participating cities.
League City residents can register online at leaguecity.com from July 31 to Aug. 6, or at the league office at 512 Second St. Residents and nonresidents can register online or at the office from Aug. 7 to Aug. 21 or until slots are full.
