Brewmasters Craft Beer Festival events announced
Tickets are on sale for the third annual Brewmasters Craft Beer Festival to be held Friday, Aug. 31 through Sunday, Sept. 2.
The event will host a series of beer and food pairings, along with taste sessions in various locations. Organizers promise 400 different craft beers will be available throughout the event.
The BrewLicious Beer and Food Pairing will be from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Aug. 31 at Frances Anne Moody Ballroom at Moody Gardens. The price is $55 per person. The Grand Tasting VIP experience starts at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the same ballroom for $75 per person.
A pub crawl will start at 6 p.m. Friday night.
A Texas Brewery Tasting Tour will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 1 at the Moody Gardens Floral Rooms. The cost for this individual tour is $25.
Two Brew HaHa tasting events will take place on Saturday. The VIP Premium Lounge starts at 2 p.m. for $85 and the Grand Tasting with Keg Korner starts at 3 p.m. for $35 in advance and $40 at the door. Both events take place at the Moody Gardens Convention Center.
A craft beer and cigar pairing event will take place from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. Saturday night at the Garden Cay at Moody Gardens. The event costs $75.
The weekend's festivities end with Brews, Boots & BBQ from 5 p.m. to midnight Sunday, Sept. 2 at the Convention Center. The country hoedown has a $10 cover charge.
The Moody Gardens Hotel, Spa and Convention Center is located at 7 Hope Blvd. in Galveston.
