Clear Lake/League City parks offer youth basketball
Clear Lake and League City parks will offer a youth basketball program for the winter.
Boys and girls leagues are split into five age divisions, and a coed league is available for ages 5-6. Boys and girls divisions are open for age groups 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14 and 15-16.
All games will be played Saturdays at local gyms in the area. The league will run from Saturday, Jan. 5 through Saturday, Feb. 16. The cost is $80 for residents and $95 for nonresidents.
Registration will be open for residents from Tuesday, Sept. 11 through Monday, Sept. 24 online at leaguecity.com or at the League City Parks Recreation Office at 512 Second St. Registration for nonresidents will be open from Tuesday, Sept. 25 through Friday, Oct. 5 if spots are still available.
