Fruit trees workshop set for Sept. 22
A workshop about fruit trees will be held on Saturday, Sept. 22 at Galveston County AgriLife Extension Office in Carbide Park in La Marque.
Fall T-Budding of Citrus and Deciduous Fruit Trees, organized by the Galveston County Master Gardeners, will run from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The class is limited to 24 participants. Attendees will learn the grafting method of fruit and citrus trees and have a hands-on workshop on T-bud grafting.
Pre-registration is required. Other may attend for observation only. Admission is free.
Galveston County AgriLife Extension Office in Carbide Park is located at 4102 Main St.
