Humane Society pet adoption event at First Colony Mall set for Sept. 9

The Houston Humane Society will be holding a pet adoption event from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 9 at First Colony Mall in Sugar Land.

The event is open to the public. Adoption fees will cost $70.

Homeless animals, including a variety of dogs, that have been acquired by the organization will be available for adoption. Interested and qualified individuals must comply with Humane Society requirements.

First Colony Mall is at 16535 Southwest Freeway.
