Clear Falls set to play Sterling Sept. 8
League City Clear Falls High School will look for its first win of the season on the football field when it battles Baytown Sterling in a 6 p.m. game Saturday, Sept. 8 at Stallworth Stadium.
The Knights were knocked off 59-14 by Rosenberg Terry in their opener Sept. 1. J.P. Lowery rushed for 147 yards and scored three touchdowns in the setback. Clear Falls finished with 283 yards and gave up 469.
Sterling is 0-1 as well after falling 25-22 to Baytown Lee Aug. 31.
Clear Falls will play Pasadena Dobie Thursday, Sept. 13 and will take on Dawson on the road Friday, Sept. 21.
Sterling will face Clear Lake Friday, Sept. 14 and will play Clear Creek Friday, Sept. 21.
All games will begin at 6 p.m.
